Horsty Mountain – our “residence” is right beside the forrest. And we have lots of trees surrounding our little house. From time to time some trees have to be cut, to have enough light on the property. But what to do with all that wood. Simply burning it felt like a shame. So the idea of chainsaw carving came up. A kind of drawing with wood – or with the chainsaw.
A really messy job – and noisy too. But I have to say, that I like the results of the first two trials. I call them buddies – because they’re standing right beside eachother in front of our house. Kind of silent watchers.
